Résumé Cette étude a pour objectif de mettre en lumière les dynamiques d’inclusion des groupes ethniques, en particulier des Noirs, dans l’enseignement supérieur en Colombie. Cet objectif s’appuie sur une série de faits historiques ayant marqué la marginalisation des Afro- Colombiens. Pour mieux comprendre cette réalité, nous avons adopté une méthode historico- analytique, permettant d’examiner les sources historiques afin de cerner les conditions d’exclusion et les formes actuelles de participation. L’étude analyse en particulier la politique des quotas, considérée comme un outil central et indispensable par les autorités académiques colombiennes. En complément, la méthode descriptive a permis de caractériser les pratiques, les dispositifs et les effets de cette politique inclusive, qui vise à transformer en profondeur un système éducatif historiquement réservé aux Blancs et aux Autochtones. Il ressort de cette recherche que la politique universitaire s’inscrit dans une démarche d’inter culturalité et de promotion du vivre-ensemble, favorisant la formation des enseignants et chercheurs afro descendants ainsi que l’intégration des étudiants noirs dans les établissements publics et privés. L’étude conclut que, grâce à une gouvernance universitaire équitable et à la discrimination positive, la Colombie a engagé des réformes inclusives ouvrant durablement l’université aux Afro-descendants. Abstract This study aims to shed light on the dynamics of inclusion of ethnic groups, particularly Black communities, in higher education in Colombia. This objective is based on a series of historical facts that have marked the marginalization of Afro-Colombians. To better understand this reality, we adopted a historico-analytical method, which allows us to examine historical sources in order to identify the conditions of exclusion and current forms of participation. The study focuses specifically on the quota policy, considered a central and indispensable tool by Colombian academic authorities. In addition, the descriptive method was used to characterize the practices, mechanisms, and effects of this inclusive policy, which seeks to deeply transform an educational system historically reserved for Whites and Indigenous peoples. This research shows that university policy in Colombia is part of an intercultural approach that promotes living together, encouraging the training of Afro-descendant teachers and researchers, as well as the integration of Black students into both public and private higher education institutions. The study concludes that, through equitable university governance and positive discrimination, Colombia has undertaken inclusive reforms that have sustainably opened access to universities for Afro-descendant populations.
