Résumé : La persistance des conflits armés dans le monde, malgré les cris d’orfraie des pacifistes, pourrait s’analyser comme le signe manifeste que l’humanité n’a pas encore fait ses adieux aux belligérances. Tandis que les antimilitaristes affichent une volonté politique avérée de mettre fin à la prolifération des armes atomiques, balistiques ou hypersoniques, les bellicistes, a contrario, n’ont jamais autant revendiqué leur résolution de surarmement, notamment avec la résurgence des guerres israëlo-palestienne et russo-ukrainienne. Visiblement, et ce au regard des périls que font courir lesdites crises à l’humanité, la létalité des armes interroge et entretient tout autant un dilemme insoluble. Autant alors se demander, pourquoi l’humanité se trouve-t-elle aujourd’hui au bord d’une déflagration généralisée, malgré l’élan pacifiste affiché des politiques ? N’est-ce pas que des puissances, par des stratagèmes sournois, tentent de maintenir leur prestige et d’imposer la morgue aux pays faibles ? À travers une approche sociocritique et heuristique, nous réévaluerons les rapports politiques induits par l’armement excessif, pour à terme dénoncer les discours opportunistes qui perpétuent la seule domination des faibles. Sans nullement surfer sur la vague du bellicisme ambiant, il s’agira d’éveiller les États vulnérables au somnambulisme politique pour leur proposer une alternative honorable qui les préserve des guerres, et qui prépare in fine l’humanité à la promesse d’une paix véritable. Mots clés : Balistique - Guerre – Hypersonique - Paix – Prolifération Abstract : The persistence of armed conflicts in the world, despite the outcries of pacifists, could be analyzed as a clear sign that humanity has not yet bid farewell to belligerences. While the antimilitarists display a proven political will to put an end to the proliferation of atomic, ballistic or hypersonic weapons, the warmongers, on the other hand, have never claimed so much their resolution to overarmament, particularly with the resurgence of Israeli wars-Palestian and Russian-Ukrainian. Obviously, and this in view of the perils that the aforementioned crises pose to humanity, the lethality of weapons questions and maintains an insoluble dilemma. So we might as well ask, why is humanity today on the brink of a generalized explosion, despite the pacifist momentum displayed by the policies? Isn’t it that powers, through cunning strategies, are trying to maintain their prestige and impose arrogance on weak countries? Through a sociocritical and heuristic approach, we will reassess the political relations induced by excessive armament, in order to eventually denounce opportunist discourses that perpetuate the domination of the weak alone. Without in any way surfing the wave of ambient warmongering, it will be a question of awakening the vulnerable states to political somnambulism to offer them an honorable alternative that preserves them from wars, and which ultimately prepares humanity for the promise of a true peace.
